Layering under a blanket
My dress code as of late has been primarily for comfort, indeed I have spent the majority of the day curled up underneath a knitted blue blanket. Comfort wear for me comes under two distinct catergories, that of the thick sweats and lovely knitted jumpers, and the slightly less thought of, thin and easy moving layering. As such I went for the latter choice, rather subdued in colour, however easy and most importantly, comfortable, to move around and sit in.
The bib front mandarin collar shirt, is one that some readers may remember from a previous post, which I coupled with a simple grey cardigan and a chunky knitted scarf. I decided to wear rather baggy fitting cotton trousers, that I use as 'home trousers', so to speak, given my penchant wearing them on days at home. The tapered ends are a feature I find easier to wear, I dislike wearing wide ended trousers for some reason. I realise the shape of the trousers may not be to everyone's liking, however for wearing around the house they are indispensable.
