Rei Kawakubo: "I just work every day, with heart and soul, and in everyday life, an idea or a feeling can arise. I do not divide the day up into sections. The work is whole and constant, whether I am at the office or at home or travelling."

I far prefer Sarah Moon's take over all those super bright and cartoony editorials that seem to have appeared in reaction to this collection. It seems far more fitting to the dark and eerily silent runway on which they were originally presented. Beauty always needs that slight element of unease.
