Natural Beauty

Beauty can be found anywhere, you only need look for it.

It is a statement I truly do believe, and has become something of a personal mantra. Indeed, I often find that the most beauty can actually be found in the ostensibly mundane. Unfortunately people become desensitized to it, in a way, as they go about their lives. They simply forget the joy that can be found in the rising of the sun, reflections upon a puddle or even just the feel of the wind.

I think one of the most obvious of things that I feel people overlook at this time of year, is something that happens all around us - it is quite magical and beautiful beyond words. I am speaking of course of when the shivering trees shed their blazing red and honey brown leaves for the Winter. Whilst most seem content to forget them underfoot, I took some time to have a wander and pick some up in order to bring them home and rescue them from their inevitable decimation under the repeated poundings of feet and rain.
