Madonna for LV

For their latest ad campaign Louis Vuitton have decided to use the Queen, no not that one on the pennies and stamps - but rather Madonna. The shoot features six Parisian inspired photographs by Steven Meisel. Many may recognise Meisel from his frequent work in US and Italian Vogue, as well as W magazine. In my opinion he was a wonderful choice, given his history photographing Madonna, one of his personal friends, back in the early '90s, for the coffee table book entitled 'Sex'. As far as the ad campaign goes, I enjoy the setting and colours, but does anyone feel it is a tad too busy? Either way it is definitely growing on me.
