"I used to dress like that"
Once again I had to venture into hospital today, I felt like doing a bit of a retro throwback outfit wise. When my father saw me this morning he remarked "I used to dress like that in the '70s", which was a welcome observation in line with my intentions. Oddly enough my polo sweater is actually a second hand buy from the 1970s. It is made from a wool blend which makes it deceptively warm. Underneath I wore a long sleeve premium cotton salmon t-shirt, a lighter note which adds depth to the layering. I paired this with light grey jeans and matched my maroon socks to the sweater for a touch of cohesion. To add some contrast to the rather soft look, I went with black Doc Martens, hard footwear to balance the cosy fabrics. I also thought it would be prudent to include a close up of my watch and ring, I noticed I barely mention my jewellery, which is odd seeing as how often I tend to wear.
