No Mirror Attempt

I decided recently that it might be worth learning to tie a bow tie without the assistance of a mirror. As any man will tell you this is not something to be approached lightly, given the rather elusive nature of the tie in itself. However given the amount of times I have tied a reasonable bow in front of a mirror, only really using the mirror in the checking of the final dimples of the bow, I decided to forgo the mirror. In all honesty I was quite pleased with my first attempt, although admittedly it requires somewhat of a polish yet.

Being the careful dresser that I am, I decided to also match my socks to the fine coloured stripes of my shirt. It is the small details of any outfit that I relish, despite the fact that it is mostly lost on the attention of many. Unfortunately, the colours to seem to be slightly off in these photographs, however they do indeed match when seen in person, so to speak.


I would also like to thank you all for the comments, I shall attempt to visit all of your wonderful blogs soon. Apologies again for the lengthy caesura in my posting, as you may have guessed from my last post, my health has not been at its best as of late. It was in all honesty rather dramatic and slighty concerning to say the least, I often think I would be a wonderful subject for an episode of a medical drama...I would quite like to meet Dr. House actually.
