Pink and Blue

Apologies again for the delay in posting, I ended up having to visit hospital once again. However given the blog, I decided to take a few photographs of my outfit for the stay. It was quite a simple and quick choice, of elements that would be comfortable above all else. My leather rucksack was prepacked, with magazines, a book (currently K-Pax) and a cardigan, for such an event. I decided to go with an ice pink for my socks in order to contrast with the sky blue American Apparel polo I was wearing. Quite bright colours, however given the inevitable surroundings, it was cheerful.

Rather annoyingly whilst ill, I managed to knock my glasses onto the floor and step on them (in my defence I was having rather major difficulties walking, hence my misplaced foot on the frames). As a result, part of the frame cracked, which I have thankfully managed to glue together and paint over. As this photograph hopefully shows, there is no immediately visible flaw, however the small painted crack, that is visible upon close inspection in person, is something that I believe adds character to the piece.

The hat I am wearing today does actually have a bobble, it just is not visible given the angle.

I would also like to take the chance to announce that there will be a follow up post to the trends discussion we had, most likely coming up tomorrow.
